Business Info: Paint The Coast was founded by Kathy Schumacher, an award-winning artist who is local to the Destin area. Kathy is sharing her love of art with beginning artists in a relaxed, fun environment where they're able to learn painting skills while accomplishing a masterpiece of their own. Parties are scheduled in Destin, Niceville and Crestview, FL. Private parties can also be scheduled at the location of your choice. Gift certificates are also available and can be purchased online.
Project Info: Focal Point eSolutions provided website design using Photoshop and built the website using the Wordpress Content Management System (CMS). An online calendar and eCommerce was built into the site to allow for painting party registration and online payment. Stripe was the payment gateway selected. The Gift Certificate code was integrated into the eCommerce module to allow the system to track the amount remaining on the certificate and to allow the certificate to be emailed to the lucky receiver. Search engine optimization was incorporated at every opportunity during design and development to enhance search result placement. The site was coded to be responsive to the screen size of the device used to browse the website.
